Space Age UV medical heating lamp, Germany, 1960s

Medical lamp (with an infrared light bulb - working, included) manufactured by VEB Quarzlampen Markleeberg in Germany in the 1960s. The lamp can also be used as a floor or desk lamp, creating an interesting ambiance. (Simply replace the original bulb with a standard light bulb.) Fits an E27 bulb. The lamp is made of white painted sheet metal with a black bakelite holder. It is adjustable up and down. The base is made of bent steel rod. The bulb socket is made of porcelain. Origin: Leipzig.
