Rare Functionalist Side Table by Antonin Heythum, 1930s

Antonín heythum was a renowned architect who made a name for himself not only in czechoslovakia but also in america, where he worked as a professor of industrial design at columbia university. This side table is a clear example of his functionalist style, where functionality is an important element that design adapts to. Table is in a very good original condition with new glass. Item is labeled on a bottom.
