Rare tension lamp for floor/ceiling from the 1960s, probably of German manufacture (presence of Heyco components). This architectural piece is fixed by a pressure system between the floor and the ceiling, without drilling or a base. It serves as a true structural element in an interior, halfway between a light fixture and a sculpture, adjustable up to 3.50m in ceiling height. Particularity Its originality lies in its two spheres made of natural cork, a rare element in this type of tension lamp, giving it a unique and highly decorative character. The contrast between: • the textured cork, • the polished stainless steel, • and the dark brown tube, adds a warm and modernist dimension typical of the late 1960s. Characteristics • Double lighting on side arms • Integrated switch on the stem with 3 positions: • lighting 1 • lighting 2 • both simultaneously • Stem composed of three distinct sections: • upper white part (additionally, another brown tube to shorten the total height by 20cm) • central part in stainless steel (support for the lights) • lower dark brown part Electricity: functional Condition: signs of functional wear (scratches on brown paint)
