Old photograph, in a glazed wooden frame and gilded stucco, representing a nice man with a mustache, sitting in an armchair. The photo is signed lower left in red de torbechet allain, active in the middle of the 19th century. The photograph has a dry stamp at the bottom, marked photography, thomas aquinas. On the back, there is a label with the words, "photography saint-thomas aquinas on the ground floor: microscopic photography, patented". And below: "de torbechet allain & cie, 44 rue saint-dominique saint-germain, portraits in black and color. Of all sizes, business cards, reproduction and photographic works of all kinds, paris". Condition the photograph is in very good condition, see the many photos, as for the frame it has some small lacks at the top and small traces of rubbing.
