Vintage East German Cocktail Bar Cabinet & Floor Lamp

Rare vintage bar cabinet with integrated floor lamp, model "Klubleseleuchte 115", manufactured in the GDR by VEB Deutsche Piano-Union Leipzig, Betriebsteil Luckenwalde. A particularly original piece of furniture combining a cocktail bar and a floor lamp in a single object. The cabinet features a glossy wood veneer finish, gold metallic details, and tapered legs. The front opens to reveal a stunning interior bar with diamond-patterned padded upholstery, a mirrored serving surface, and original metal supports for glasses. The integrated floor lamp retains its pleated fringed shade. The whole piece is in very good original vintage condition considering its age, with its finish, interior, accessories, and original label intact. There are normal signs of wear and use, including a small light mark on the top, visible in the photos. The original label states: "Klubleseleuchte 115 – VEB Deutsche Piano-Union Leipzig – Betriebsteil Luckenwalde, Mozartstraße 20". An exceptional statement piece for a mid-century interior, a living room, a private bar, or a collection of German design from the GDR era.
