Pelican sculpture in cloisonné enamel ceramic by Émile Masson circa 1960

Sublime blue and green cloisonné glazed ceramic pelican by the French ceramist "Émile Masson" He moved to Vallauris in 1950 and stayed there for 15 years: then he moved to Bourg Saint-Maurice in Savoie and continued his ceramic workshop there. This unique piece is signed "Émile Masson, Bourg St Maurice. Perfect condition. It measures 60 cm high, 60 cm wide and 20 cm in diameter at the base.
