Stunning quality middle eastern made wool rug with vibrant shades of red and faded azure. Very interesting geometric pattern to main area with surround featuring rows of assorted islamic/eastern symbols. Fringe edged. Over 125 years old and still has good strong pile to the weave. Very useful room size carpet which adds an antique aspect to any room or can compliment other antique or modern furnishings. This rug is very usable and practical despite its antiquity.
