Vintage large French blonde oak monastery dining table, 1960s.

Monastery trestle dining table from France, made in the 1960s. This piece has peg construction. The tabletop is made from wide planks of solid oak, approximately 5cm thick, exhibiting a rustic appearance. Supported by a base featuring two intricately carved legs inspired by antique tables, connected by a removable framework. With no lower framework obstructing the underside of the top, all armchairs can be fully tucked in, maximizing legroom. The table is impeccably finished with a satin lacquer, offering exceptional protection against rings and stains. This lacquer ensures effortless maintenance, allowing daily cleaning with a damp cloth and light household cleaning agents.
