This is the iconic Series 7 chair in lime green, apricot, and yellow, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, manufactured in Denmark. The Series 7 chair, launched in 1955, features an ideal shape for the human body, with a backrest that provides just the right amount of support to keep the upper body comfortable. The chair is made from 9 layers of pressure-moulded veneer for strength, flexibility, and durability despite its slender form. It is the most popular design in the Fritz Hansen chair collection. The thin yet sturdy tubular steel legs complement the curved profile of the shell. The shells show a beautiful patina of use with some signs of wear on certain chairs, giving them their authentic character. The chrome legs have retained their shine. Protective pads are present on most chairs. Finish: stained ash that reveals the natural and organic grain of the wood. They are lightweight (4 kg) and stackable. The origin of these chairs is from an office. Sold as a lot of 11 (3 apricot, 3 yellow, 5 lime in very good overall condition). There is also the possibility to purchase 3 additional lime chairs and 1 apricot chair that are slightly more worn (with some paint chipped in a few places, see photo). Additionally, there is the option to sell in lots of the same colour.
