Like a fragment of a Finnish winter landscape, this heavy ice bucket belongs to the "Seita" collection, designed in 1976 by Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala. The deeply textured surface evokes melting ice and tree bark. The transparent glass captures and fragments light, while the geometric metal handle adds an elegant contrast to this organic shape. A functional bar object that also has the presence of a small sculpture. The glass body measures 10 cm in height; with the handle raised, the total height is 17 cm. In good vintage condition. The glass is well preserved; the metal handle shows slight surface marks related to age. The irregular contour and very pronounced texture are part of the original design.
