Vintage Sculptural Onyx Catchall / Ashtray – Heavy Natural Stone

Eautiful vintage sculptural catchall carved from a substantial piece of natural onyx. The stone has a soft milky white and cream colour with subtle translucent areas, warm beige veining and darker mineral inclusions along one edge. The irregular organic outline has deliberately been left partly raw, contrasting beautifully with the smooth polished interior. Its substantial weight and one-of-a-kind natural pattern give it a luxurious, almost Brutalist / organic modern character. Perfect as a catchall, jewellery dish, decorative bowl, vide-poche or sculptural object on a coffee table, console or bedside table. Details: Natural onyx. Solid and very heavy.
