Stairballs

Pair of charming golden metal stair balls (brass. Bronze. In any case rather thick and heavy), largely patinated by time and use, more on top than below where the metal remains a little more golden. Finally I say "stairball", but i'm not sure if it's that, maybe the ends of chenet, but the base seems a little too big for this use. They are equipped with a thread of screws inside the collar, in the narrowest part. They are still very solid but have many marks of time and use: indentations on each, mainly on the top, more marked on one than on the other, and various spots and marks. They measure 7.5 cm in height, and 5.5 cm in diameter for the ball, 3.2 cm for the base. They each weigh about 100 g.
