Beautiful large glazed stoneware bowl signed Le Cep, a workshop founded in 1959 in Villenauxe-la-Grande by the ceramist Jean Tessier. Very nice glazing with shades of brown, ochre, and speckled beige, with visible turning marks. A piece with simple and clean lines, characteristic of the modernist productions of the Atelier Le Cep from the 60s/70s, heavily influenced by Scandinavian design. Signature "Le Cep" incised under the base. Diameter: 25 cm Height: 8 cm
