ST MEDARD set of 12 table forks in antique style Chinon 21 cm

This superb set of 12 table forks is made of silver-plated metal. This classic model with an antique thread is called "Chinon" at Christofle. It is silver-plated from two different silversmith houses: there are 5 pieces signed by the House of Saint Médard and 7 pieces stamped "RD10" (the latter show more surface scratches). The silversmith Saint Médard specialised in the manufacture of cutlery: this silversmith house is renowned for its classic models since the early 19th century. The pieces are marked "St MEDARD" and bear the stamp "SM". In good condition, they show signs of use and traces of oxidation. These forks measure 21 cm in length.
