Glass Tealight cup in green bubbled glass Biot? Vintage

This lovely goblet is made of green bubbled glass. This glass can be used for strong alcohols: liqueurs, arranged rums, cognac. They can also be used as a tealight holder. These glasses are mouth-blown using a craft technique characteristic of biot glassworks. At the base, you can see the trace of the breakage of the cane to blow the glass. Biot bubbled glass has existed since 1956, when glassmakers succeeded in creating bubbled glass: by controlling the bubble, trapping it between two layers of glass, thus making a defect a quality. Between tradition and creation, each biot glassware is unique, because it is mouth-blown by master glassmakers. Depending on the season, the products come in all colors: sand pink, lime green, amethyst, persian blue... Pastel and sparkling colors at the same time. In good condition, this goblet measures approximately 6 cm in height. It is not signed.
