Bridge armchair

The bridge chair is emblematic of the early 20th century, the Art Deco period. Created during the interwar years to allow high society to play bridge. It is therefore a chair designed to be moved as it is lightweight and compact while remaining comfortable. This particular model was probably made in the 1950s-60s. It has been completely reupholstered and restored in the traditional manner using natural materials to the highest standards. The fabric comes from the collections of the publisher Casal. The stitching is entirely handmade. Its design will allow its owner to change the fabric at will without having to redo the entire upholstery.
