Marco zanuso (1916-2001) Armchair model lady edition arflex. Drawing from 1951, the model on sale dates from the late 50s and has been reupholstered formerly. The frame is made of solid wood padded with foam and covered with a brown fabric, the base is made of metal with brass tips on the base of the feet. The lady armchair was presented for the first time in 1951 at the IX triennale in milan where it won the gold medal. It met with immediate success. Its great comfort is revolutionary for the time. It is due to the use of new materials (rubber foams...) and different degrees of padding according to the needs of the body. The lady armchair is of rare elegance, its soft and welcoming curves make the armchair timeless.
