A unique bowl by Vibeke Fischer from 1984. One of her early works. Signed VF 84. An incredibly beautiful bowl in a delicate lilac colour, very thin and slender in appearance and simply exquisite. Unfortunately, it has a tiny chip along the rim of the bowl (see the second-to-last picture), and the last picture shows a small glaze bubble, which has not cracked but can be felt with a finger. It measures 6 cm in height and 18.3 cm in diameter and weighs 363 grams. About Vibeke Fischer: Vibeke Fischer is a Danish ceramicist who has been working with ceramics for over 30 years. She is particularly known for her hand-thrown bowls. Vibeke has a solid educational background, having studied at renowned schools in both England and Denmark, including Camberwell College of Art and Crafts in London, where she was taught by prominent ceramicists such as Lucie Rie and Hans Coper. Her works are characterised by a clean and simple aesthetic. She has taken part in numerous solo and curated exhibitions and has received several awards for her work, including The Solar Foundation Award in 2003. Her art has been sold to prominent institutions such as the National Bank of Denmark and ISS Scandinavia. You can read more about Vibeke via the link below: Https: //www.keramiksignatur.dk/makerpage/1269/vibeke-fischer/ Vibeke is among the more expensive Danish ceramic artists, and it is our firm belief that this will only increase over time. Packed securely and sent with insured post (the price takes into account a minor flaw; otherwise, it would have cost twice as much).
