Set of 2 restored Illum Wikkelsø / Niels Eilersen “Capella” teak armchairs

The price is for a set of 2. Fully restored “Capella” teak armchair / easy chair, designed by Illum Wikkelsø for Niels Eilersen, 1960s, Denmark. Approximate dimensions: 75 X 68 X 82 cm (height, width, depth). The frame has been sanded and sealed with a satin finish using a combination of oil and hard wax, giving it a very pleasant, smooth feel. The upholstery straps have been replaced, and the upholstery has been renewed with new high-density cold foam and new seat covers made from a high-quality, robust upholstery fabric in plain weave with wool content. Colour: turquoise. Covers have zippers for cleaning. Used item with only minimal signs of wear, as it is fully restored. Almost like-new condition. One of the armchairs still has the manufacturer’s sticker. These are the original photos of the items for sale. However, colours may vary slightly depending on the display device/screen. The “Capella” side table shown in the picture is not included in this offer and can be purchased separately (if still available). In case of DHL shipping the armchairs will be disassembled and well packaged in an insured package including tracking at regular DHL prices (due to its size, an oversize surcharge will apply). Can be easily reassembled with a screwdriver.
