Vintage wooden and metal green travel trunk, circa 1930.

Authentic antique travel trunk with incomparable retro charm, ideal for being repurposed as a coffee table, storage chest, or a side bar. Its metal structure is highlighted by beautiful wooden slats and metal fittings. The exterior features a stunning green and black geometric pattern that is very graphic. A piece rich in history; inside, it retains its original floral blue patterned paper from the 1920s-1930s, while underneath, the bottom is lined with an original Portuguese newspaper (Jornal de Notícias from 1970, reporting on the withdrawal of American troops from Cambodia). An unusual detail that reflects its travels and past life! In satisfactory condition, this item is an antique sold second-hand. It naturally shows signs of time and wear. This is precisely what gives it charm and a unique character. In particular, on this piece of furniture: signs of use, light wear, and age-related stains consistent with its age. Please note: the clasp on the left metal fastener is missing, the top of the lid shows a patina marked by time (signs of oxidation, surface wear, and visible rubbing in the photos from above).
