Large vintage Bitossi Rimini Blue ceramic bowl – 28 cm

Beautiful large Bitossi ceramic bowl, executed in the iconic intense turquoise and cobalt-blue glazes associated with the Rimini Blue range. The bowl features richly incised geometric decoration arranged in concentric bands, with the same repeating motifs continuing around the exterior. The variations of blue, turquoise and darker accents create the characteristic highly textured, luminous surface. A substantial decorative piece measuring approximately 28 cm in diameter and around 7 cm high. The underside is fully glazed apart from the exposed terracotta foot ring. Particularly attractive as a centrepiece, fruit bowl or collectible piece of Italian mid-century ceramics. Vintage condition with visible signs of age and use. There are several chips and glaze losses around the upper rim, clearly shown in the photographs, as well as general glaze wear and small imperfections. Despite these losses, the bowl remains highly decorative and displays beautifully. REF 26367.
