Very fine architect's desk, called, working table, designed by bodil kjaer 1959. Produced by e. Pedersen & søn in denmark, this example dates from the mid-1960s, and is made of brazilian rosewood veneer, with chrome-plated steel legs. It also includes its two two-drawer pedestals, also in rosewood veneer, mounted on casters. This piece is probably the most iconic modernist desk, appearing in three james bond films (from russia with love - 1963; you only live twice - 1967; on her majesty's secret service - 1969), and most recently in kingsman - 2014. Four deep drawers form a large storage space, all of which can be locked. This rare desk has been fully restored, french-polished, and is in superb condition. Each pedestal measures 44 centimeters wide, 61 centimeters deep, and 51 centimeters high.
