Louis XV style canapé in moulded wood – red velvet fabric – 19th century

Louis XV style canapé, dating from the 19th century, made of moulded solid wood. Elegant violin-shaped backrest with sinuous lines, scroll arms, and curved legs typical of the Louis XV style. The wood has a beautiful warm patina. Fully reupholstered in fine striped red velvet, in very good condition, offering a strong decorative contrast. Comfortable seat with traditional padding on straps. Very good overall condition. Healthy and stable structure. Clean and recent fabric.
