Slope desk marquetry XVIIIth

Sloping desk in satin veneer opening by a lid and three drawers. This piece of furniture is plated on all its faces which allows it to be placed in the middle of the room if necessary. The marquetry work is refined, the corners of this desk are veneered in marquetry "end wood", the veneer "curling" is precious, satin was used for luxurious furniture. The keys are present but it is advisable not to operate the locks as a precaution. The style is late louis xv, the straight lines are present and augur the louis XVI style. This piece of furniture dates from the eighteenth century with a probable re-plating in the nineteenth. It has been restored, revarnished by us. This desk is easy to place thanks to its light size.
