Orange wall lamp by Josef Hurka for Napako, Czechoslovakia, 1970s.

A striking Czechoslovak wall lamp from the 1970s, designed by Josef Hurka for Napako. The lamp combines a bright orange lacquered metal shade with a chrome cylindrical body and a white inner reflector. The strong geometric silhouette, saturated orange finish, and the combination of chrome and painted metal are characteristic of the expressive mid-century lighting produced in Czechoslovakia during this period. The adjustable shade allows for the direction of light to be modified according to use.
