This is a "LINEAR DISPLAY" for a "point of sale" intended for the sale of products (bottles of spices) in supermarkets. For the backstory, In 1963, Gilbert and his uncle, Marc Ducros, founded the family spice company Ducros. In 1965, Ducros invented the "DUCS" herb bottles and the spice display unit. In 1973, a new supermarket chain appeared under the name COMOD. In 1998, the COMOD stores disappeared (acquired by Carrefour at the time) and were then emptied of their furniture. Around the same time, I salvaged one of these Ducros spice units... this very one. A model that has since completely disappeared to make way for lighter furniture. It was assembled and put together in the factory, never disassembled, and I'm not sure if that is possible. It is very stable on the ground. Once placed, it does not move at all - the weight ensures its stability. It consists of: An outer frame made of melamine panels. A set of profiled steel plates. DIMENSIONS: Height - on outer edges: 195.5 cm. Width - on outer edges: 60 cm. Thickness of the plates making up the outer frame: 2 cm. INNER STRUCTURE: 60 small compartments: 5 in width / 12 in height. Dimensions: height: 13.5 cm / width: 11 cm / depth: 21 cm. FOOTPRINT: 23 cm wide X 60 cm long. For your information, the "foot" or base is hollow underneath. WEIGHT: No idea, never weighed it but approximately 35 kg. CONDITION: No rust on the steel structure. No deformation of the frame and panels. It should be noted: signs of use/wear on the base/floor are quite normal. This is a piece of furniture that spent over 10 years in a store and has been with me for nearly 28 years. Zoom in on the photo and you will see that these are just tiny marks that are perfectly acceptable. DELIVERY: collection on site is mandatory - I cannot deliver it. "Thank you for your attention."
