Oval table 70s design – Glass, Chrome & Walnut

Oval coffee table in Design style, characteristic of the Space Age aesthetic of the 1970s. The thick transparent glass oval top rests on two polished chrome tulip legs. Each leg consists of a highly reflective convex circular base, a dark wood column – probably walnut – encircled with brass rings, and an upper support in chrome tubes shaped like a Z that holds the top via suction cups. The two legs are connected by a chrome crossbar ensuring stability and visual coherence to the whole. The chrome is in excellent condition, with a mirror shine characteristic of the production of the time. The underside of the bases shows some slight signs of oxidation, without affecting the overall aesthetic. The whole is in good general condition. Dimensions: height 45 cm, top 120 x 70 cm. Weight: 40 kg. Please arrange suitable handling due to the weight of the glass top. A table with a strong design, ideal for a contemporary interior or a vintage 70s decor approach.
