Superb Villeroy & Boch coffee maker, with a simple and refined design typical of the 1970s. Its silhouette and deep mahogany brown glaze make it both elegant and graphic. The quality of German porcelain is evident in the details: tapered spout, perfectly balanced angled handle, and a lid with a small cylindrical knob, all with a very modern feel. The spout features a discreet indentation at its tip, an ingenious drip-stop detail designed to control the flow and prevent spills, while also adding a subtle graphic signature to the carafe's lines. This coffee maker combines functionality and minimalist aesthetics, in the spirit of the Scandinavian and Bauhaus designs that inspired Villeroy & Boch during this period. Stamped Villeroy & Boch Luxembourg on the base. In excellent vintage condition, very glossy, with no chips or cracks. A very slight brown glaze imperfection is partially visible on the inside of the spout (see photos). Height 17 cm, total length (including handle) 21 cm, depth 12.5 cm, base diameter 14 cm. A timeless piece with a clean, architectural design: urban elegance and retro warmth.
