Cubic modular bookcase in oak by Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen for Soborg Møbler, Denmark 1960

An impressive completely modular cubic bookcases system designed by peter hvidt and orla molgaard nielsen and manufactured by soborg mobelfabrik in the 1960s indenmark (there is no label, but it is for sure). The bookcase is made of solid oak. The set features six self-contained modules with shelves. All can be arranged as required. The possibilities are a lot! All the cubes are built in there are characteristic way with dovetail joints on each of the cubes. Our team checked the bookcase thoroughly. We have cleaned and rejuvenated the wood with danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old.
