Pair of Aztecs 70's bookends in Agatha - Tellez Mines Serre Hbar - Handmade - Mexico

These bookends are unique pieces of 1970s mexican family craftsmanship. These agathe copies are much rarer than those in onyx. (only the pedestals are in onyx). The agathe is distinguished from the onyx by the presence of more "chaotic" stripes of color with many shades (clearly visible on the characters). The onyx bases have an unsurpped translucent milky hue. The characters are presented in a "ritual" sitting position. The pedestals have suffered some minor accidents (shock or cracking) without breaking and are totally homogeneous (see the latest photos). The characters are absolutely impeccable, free of any accident or lack, with a superb brilliance of the agathe. The shipment will be protected, tracked and insured. Any questions.
