Vintage scandinavian short pile rug by gun gorgillo for ege axminster

Scandinavian modern rug by gun gordillo, blue hour from ege art line series, ege axminster as, denmark (it was label marked, the label lost in cleaning processes). Short pile technique, wool on synthetics base. Poetic abstract pattern, white and deep blue. Designed in 1985, manufactured in 4th quarter of 20th century. 198 X 135 cm (78 X 53 in). Nb although professionally cleaned, there are light non-intensive stains visible within the white stripes on the averse, and stains on the reverse of the rug.
