Mid-20th century industrial work table, consisting of a metal frame, a solid wood top, and two front drawers. It most likely comes from a workshop, production space, or technical environment, where functionality and durability took precedence over any decorative considerations. The piece features a robust and rational construction. The painted iron frame retains its original cream finish, with marked and even wear: paint chips, superficial oxidation, and signs of use revealing an active life related to manual work. Far from being defects, these marks are an essential part of its identity and authenticity. The wooden top, made from assembled solid planks, offers a warm and well-established patina, with softened edges, slight irregularities, and signs of continuous use. The underside, also original, retains remnants of paint and signs of wear that enhance the industrial reading of the whole.
