Set of 4 Canasta Arrben armchairs

Superb set of 4 "Canasta" armchairs, produced by the renowned Italian manufacturer Arrben at the turn of the 70s and 80s. True icons of post-modern design and heirs to the Bauhaus school, these seats brilliantly combine an industrial look with great minimalist elegance. Their cantilever architectural structure is made from continuous chrome-plated steel tubing. The absence of rear legs not only provides an airy and highly graphic line but also gives a slight flexibility to the backrest, making the seat extremely comfortable. The wide curved band that forms the backrest and armrests, as well as the seat, is upholstered in black, creating a striking contrast with the shine of the chrome metal. These pieces fit perfectly into a contemporary interior, around a dining table, a meeting table, or as accent chairs. General condition: Good vintage condition. The structure: The chrome is in very good condition, shiny, and has retained all its brilliance. The seat: The seats are firm, comfortable, and in very good condition. Defects to note: There are some signs of wear and a patina of use on the armrests (see detailed photos).
