Set of 16 19th century white napkins marked “BL”

Rare set of 16 large 19th century napkins, measuring 0.70 X 0.85cm, which can be tied around the neck, as in the banquets of yesteryear! In very good quality linen, of a pleasant thickness, marked “bl” by hand, in elegantly drawn english letters, with full, loose ends and small intertwined flowers... A small recovery on a napkin, see photo with paper clip a small yellow dot on another, see photo. 3 of them are very very slightly yellowed. For, if not a banquet, a large festive table!.
