Vintage hammered brass lamp

Beautiful oriental lamp foot in hammered brass of very beautiful size. The brass has been cleaned to find a more golden hue, nevertheless, I decided to keep a little of its original patina for more authenticity. The lamp can be stitched to obtain a more uniform gold. The electrical assembly dates from the 70s, however it is likely that these feet of lamps are older and once served as jars for foodstuffs (see the underside of the foot) Two lamp legs are available but sold individually. Two dips are present at the base at the back of the same lamp, not very visible when the lamp is in place (see photo) Height up to the stem )28 cm. Total height 36cm. Diameter 23cm. Weight 1.9kg.
