Double-sided hand mirror from the 1960s made of teak plywood. The mirror was designed either by Hans-Agne Jakobsson and manufactured by AB Markaryd, or by Bech & Starup for "Den Permanente, " a department store in Copenhagen that operated between 1930 and 1980. (Den Permanente was a collective of designers and artisans who created a space to promote the best of modern Danish design.) This mirror perfectly embodies Danish elegance and craftsmanship and became a coveted item among mid-century enthusiasts. The double-sided mirror is in very good condition and still has its original leather strap for hanging. Dimensions: 38cm X 16cm X 2cm.
