Here is a very pretty bubbled blown glass cup whose origin is beyond doubt: it is signed biot underneath, just on the mark which testifies to the cutting of the glass after blowing. It is a beautiful amber-colored glass dotted with fine little bubbles. Its originality also lies in its shape, slightly flattened on the bottom on one side to form its base, it is therefore placed at an angle, which allows the opening to be oriented towards the side and which highlights its rim. Indeed, the rim is nicely worked, it is not uniform, but perfectly finished, smooth and soft, although dotted with bubbles, a very nice craftsmanship. Difficult to date it, but I would say 70s when the amber color was very appreciated. I do not know what use was intended for this cup, but I can see it well on a table, presenting a few heads of fresh flowers placed in it, or as a candy box or pocket emptier on a desk. This cup is in perfect condition, no cracks, no chips, not even a scratch. It measures approximately 12 cm in height, the opening measures 10 cm in diameter.
