Toad armchair, Louis-Philippe era – 2nd half of the nineteenth century

This "toad" armchair is entirely upholstered with a beautifully crafted fabric with multicolored foliage and bronze-colored nail finish. Its reinforced concave backrest in the lower part is extended by armrests set back from the seat. This seat rests on four black varnished legs, turned and mounted on wheels at the front, and sabers at the rear.
