Bronze chicken with a dark brown patina. Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912) Hollow cast with 2 foundry vents, one under the legs and one under the tail. The patina is superb, the plumage finely chiselled. Very good condition, collection state. Provenance: Asian art collector. Height: 14.5 cm. Depth: 9 cm. Length: 19 cm.
