Iconic Scandinavian pendant light, the PH Artichoke was created in 1958 and is still produced. The structure consists of twelve steel arches on which are placed seventy-two copper plates in twelve circular rows, with six blades on each row. Each row being staggered in relation to the previous one, the seventy-two leaves can cover each other. This design allows a view of the luminaire from any angle without directly seeing the light source located in the center. Designer: Poul Henningsen. Publisher: Louis Poulsen. Origin: Denmark. Period: 2000. Condition: Very good condition. Dimensions: D: 48 cm – H: 50 and 68 cm. Material: Brushed copper metal.
