National cash register, american version of dayton in ohio, circa 1880. Fully revised and functional with its nice chime sound when opening the drawer. Rare thing the keys are present and allow among other things to block or not the machine, to open the receipt space... A piece of the history of commerce and a work of mechanical art which evokes the nostalgia of a bygone era and embodies elegance and artisanal authenticity. The sheet metal labels displaying the prices are slightly pitted by rust.
