Mado jolain ceramic cup, 1950s

Small ceramic pinched bowl by artist mado jolain (1921-2019), dating from the 1950s and signed "mj" on the reverse. French ceramicist and designer mado jolain is renowned for her creations combining aesthetics and functionality, particularly in the 1950s and 1960s. After studying at the école des beaux-arts in paris, she collaborated with haute couture houses creating fashion accessories. This piece, in excellent condition, is a testament to her talent and creative spirit.
