Iridescent Murano glass lamp

This vintage italian table lamp from the 90s is a modern interpretation by murano glass artisans of the traditional venetian parchment lampshades, present in the ancient doge's palaces. It is blown in a rainbow iridescent glass, semi-translucent, speckled, milky and transparent, similar to mother-of-pearl. The glass shade has a very decorative sail or wing shape... The lamp creates a beautiful atmosphere thanks to its subdued light (although the choice of the bulb is fundamental in the intensity of the light chosen). Very beautiful vintage piece. The glass is in very good condition however the gilded metal shows some small traces of oxidation (small rust spots). This object has gone through a few decades, it therefore bears the traces of its life... If you wish to acquire it it is with (and for) its history, its authenticity and its imperfections which make it unique.
