Louis XV ceremonial bench

Here is a magnificent bench for three people, probably from the early twentieth century, rare and in a state that surprises for its age. All in molded walnut, the wood is worked with tact and elegance. It is a ceremonial bench, as it is so majestic. Louis XV style furniture in carved wood, with a façade of a superb flat with a crest carved with florets and foliage as is symmetrical and resonant the belt that echoes it, this type of backrest, dear to the wife of louis XV inherited his nickname... "to the queen". The superb backrest offers a uniform surface of a pink so trendy, that it seems to have been redone when it is probably not. Anyway, if the pink color is of a vintage love, it also manages to hide its age. The very rare marks of time, here, seem more like the jokes of a beautiful lady. This file is also surrounded by sculptures that respond to each other for a real work of goldsmith. Moreover, this backrest, from the back is also dressed in a satin fabric of the same color, it really offers a beautiful presence, (especially since the separations avoid too big a mass of pink) which would allow it to be positioned in the middle of the room, between two spaces, without the backrest being a visual handicap. The curved and beautifully carved feet have beautiful lines. They have the interesting particularity, to be 6 in number for a perfection of balance, and therefore stable seat, guarantee of durability. They do not have the risk of "collapse" of the large benches insufficiently supported. The 4 feet in front not only gracefully delimit the three wide places provided, but also offer a superb façade line where the work of cabinetmaking appears as an art of finesse and grace. The 2 armrests testify to the quality of the whole. They have in their middle a support also covered with velvet for a certain comfort.
