Restored antique wooden cupboard in rustic style

Old jam cabinet (2nd half of the 19th century) that has been completely stripped by sandblasting, finely sanded by hand, and waxed with an old-fashioned paste wax. A piece of wood had to be recreated and grafted onto the bottom of the furniture, in the same type of wood. The hardware has been waxed with a metal wax and the knob replaced with one from the same period. It has been fully treated against wood-boring insects with an environmentally friendly product. Key missing. Height: 84cm. Width: 92cm. Depth: 42cm. Authenticity: As this is an antique piece, it shows signs of use and marks of time (patina, micro-impacts, traces of woodworms) that testify to its history and add to its charm. Shade variations: The actual color of the wood or patina may slightly vary depending on the lighting and settings of your screen.
