This sofa retains all its original features, including a spiral spring base, factory ticking fabric, a hessian cover with the Howard & Son's Lenygon & Morant label, and fibre-filled cushions providing exceptional comfort. This sofa is a must-have for any connoisseur of quality English furniture, reflecting the charm and style of country houses. Howard & Son’s is renowned as one of the best chair manufacturers in the world, with a famous collection belonging to the late queen. The sofa is in good structural condition and the main upholstery, with discolouration on the side panels and the bottom of the backrest, as well as a line of tearing on the fabric at the top. The middle cushion is upholstered horizontally, unlike the other cushions. There is an option to reupholster in Howard & Son’s ticking fabric upon request.
