Lot of 6 plates in fine earthenware from choisy-le-roi, p&h, rebus décor; xixth

Lot of 6 rare earthenware plates in rébus - choisy le roi - p&h -early nineteenth. A set of six plates in the shape of a rebus, printed by transfer in black on a white earthenware body. When solved, the puzzle gives the meaning of a saying or maxim, which are sometimes numbered (here n°2 and n°12), around 1854-1920. They are both decorative and original. Size: diameter: 21.8 cm. Height edges: 2.2 cm. Weight of a plate: between 260 and 300 grams. They are marked on the back p&h choisy and numbered. Number of rebuses to discover: 5 because 2 of the plates have the same rebus. I do not have the solutions. Condition of all plates: the structure of 5 of the plates is in good condition and has no weaknesses. One of the plates has a crack on the rim and stains. Presence of a clean chip (no crack) on one of the plates and a jump of enamel on the outline of another, all highlighted in the photos. Surface wear (scratches) more pronounced on one of the plates. Nice appearance. The decoration is well preserved, the enamel is slightly yellowing, which is normal. See all photos with highlighted details. Very neat shipment.
