Vintage glazed ceramic owl – 1960s-70s

Charming glazed ceramic owl, probably from a French artisanal production of the 1960s-70s. Moulded from red clay, it features a beautiful speckled glaze in natural shades of beige, brown, grey-green, and terracotta. The eyes, long beak, and relief wings give it a naive and very expressive silhouette. Hollow, it can be used as a small plant pot, pencil holder, or simply as a decorative object. The piece bears a monogram under the base, visible in the photos. The ceramist could not be identified with certainty. Height: 12 cm. Very good condition, with a slight chip that is not very visible, shown in the photo (circled in blue).
