Ceramic lamp, free form, sculptural, 1960-70, Vallauris style.

Very beautiful table lamp from the 1970s. The lamp base is made of glazed ceramic, handcrafted in the style of the potters from Vallauris. The piece is signed underneath the base by the ceramic artist "m. Dray" and dated "1979". The shape of the base is very original and its craftsmanship is of very high quality. The condition of the glaze is impeccable. The electrical wiring has been completely redone, and the lamp comes with a vintage wool woven lampshade, of very fine quality, along with its original reflector cover. The overall condition is excellent. Dimensions of the base (ceramic only): l 17 X h 32 X d 8.5 cm. Total height of the base (with the brass joint and socket): 40 cm. Dimensions of the vintage lampshade: bottom diameter 35 cm X h 27 cm X top diameter 32.5 cm. Total height of the lamp with the lampshade: 62.5 cm.
