Set of 6 champagne flutes in crystal from Saint Louis or Baccarat, model Caton. These are strong crystal pieces straight from the second half of the 19th century. Caton was originally produced by both Baccarat and St Louis, who shared the same moulds and a single catalogue. Later, the model appeared in the Baccarat tableware catalogue of 1907, and in the St Louis catalogues of the 20th century under the name Caton. An essential and timeless model. These glasses are from an old production and do not have a stamp, as it was only from 1936 that the crystal factories replaced the label certifying the origin of pieces (which would wear off after a few washes) with the famous acid-etched mark. It should be noted that there is a small chip on the inside of the rim of one flute, on the foot, and it is very inconspicuous. There is no missing glass, just an internal chip, see photos. Height 16.5 cm / Opening diameter 5.8 cm.
